Mi Tierra is a mosaic series dedicated to the land. Mi Tierra, meaning ‘My Land’, honors the land from where we came - even if we feel far away from that land. The mirror shows the viewer’s reflection and brings them into the piece - showing us that the wisdom of the earth is always within us.

Lys has been featured on the front page of the Austin Statesman for her mosaic work and has been commissioned by the City of Austin for two major mosaic public art projects. Mi Tierra is a small collection of six pieces. This is the first time that Lys’ mosaic work has been available for purchase.
